FAQ

1. Who sponsors this project?
   This is strictly an educational project sponsored by LEARN. It is not a commercial venture and it is meant to match the requirements of the Québec curriculum.
2. Do I have to pay to participate in this project?
   It's absolutely free ! This is a service offered by the Québec-based educational organisation LEARN. It is meant for Québec educators, but all are welcomed to participate.
3. We only have one computer with Internet access and E-mail. Can I realistically do this project with all my students in those conditions?
   It's not how many Internet connected computers that matter with this project. One is really enough. Students can be put in charge of checking the site for new stories that have been posted and print them out to work on their response.

   For creating their stories, students should use a word processor to write. We don't recommend that they type directly into the web publishing screen. It's not a good tool for editing and polishing a piece of work. If you have access to a computer lab, all the work can be done fairly quickly. If you have one or several computers in the class, students can take turns.

   Once all the electronic documents have been created, either in class or a computer lab, plan a trip with your students to the computer with Internet access to send all the material you created.
